Great freezer - too shallow

Performance of freezer is fine. Only problem is that the shelves are so shallow it's hard to get a ham or a turkey in. I'm guessing it's because it's a frost free. Our previous freezer, which was not a frost free, had full depth inside. This one is only half the depth. Because things have to be piled up, there is more tendency for them to tumble out when we open the freezer.

We are about 3 weeks into the use of our new freezer. So far it is meeting our expectations. The features, especially the interior light, is great and there is plenty of room. We went from a 5.1 Cu. Ft. chest freezer to this one, so we are certainly happy with the additional size and ease of retrieving items.

Our not too old freezer die. We replaced it with the garage ready upright freezer. Love the easy access and lighting to find contents. This one we put in the garage to avoid possible malfunction while gone for long periods of time. Would hate to have it in the house if that happens.

We were in the market for our first garage freezer and came across the Frigidaire 13 cubic foot freezer. Honestly it was a little bit more than what our budget was, but the reviews and Frigidaire name we decided to splurged. It's really nice and was up and running before the delivery men left our garage. Here's the thing that I'm impressed most with is that I have to periodically check out in the garage to make sure this freezer is running. It is so quiet and thank God for the green light that ensures you that the freezer is working properly or otherwise you'd have no idea it is running. It is amazingly quiet. No complaints so far, just glad we bought a Frigidaire.

I've had my freezer only 14 days so far but I love it. It is plenty big enough for lots of things. And it has some great features such as the alarm that sounds if you accidently leave the door open 5 minutes and the little green light outside that lets you know it is on and working. Glad I bought this cute little freezer!

There are 2 items you need to review.1. Needs to be 2 1/2™ added to the depth 2. Needs to have a flat rectangular flat pull out basket at the bottom of the freezer not like the one that is there.These comments that we liked from our previous Frigidaire freezer. Other then that with these improvements would make it a better design,Retired Machine Design Specialist.

We recently replaced an old freezer with the Frigidaire 13 cubic foot freezer. While slightly narrower, the height addition allowed us to fit everything from our older wider freezer into the Frigidaire freezer. After a day of settling after plugging it in for the first time, I actually turned down the setting from the factory preset because it is just that efficient! I'm looking forward to reduced electric bills! It does everything as advertised and runs extremely quietly. Five thiumbs up!

Very well constructed. Quiet Operation. Easily reverse the door. Good versatility in the shelving. Light enough to easily maneuver into place. I also love the green indicator light on the bottom for at a glance assurance that its operating as expected.

I picked this freezer from the line up mostly due to the absurd amount of good reviews it had. Seeing 15k 5 star reviews on any item makes it pretty simple I think. We've only had it around a month now but it's off to a good start. The indicator light is so bright I can see it in the daytime in the carport where we keep it. It's not loud. It keeps everything frozen as it should. There's no first build up. I have no complaints at all.

Replaced a 20 year old Frost Frigidaire that still worked but got tired of manual defrosting and loosing space. New unit works great and froze the food in 1/4 the time. Had to keep it small due to the stairs and doors that it had to pass to get to the final location. Hope it lasts as long as the other one!!

Have always had the chest-style freezer, but was a pain to organize. Finally decided to get an upright, and I'm never going back! This one is just the right size for my husband and me. It's easy to organize and find things, with the interior light. Only downside so far is, while it's nice to have the light at the bottom to know that it's working properly, it is VERY bright, with no way to adjust it. Otherwise, love it!

I purchased this freezer after looking at reviews and dependability of Frigidaire. I had a chest freezer and it was hard to get to food items stored in it.
