I bought my Whirlpool dishwasher about 5 years ago and I had it in the box and now in 2023 when I opened the box I saw that is missing the power cord and its cost is $17 plus tax. Why??? Should be come with the appliance.

Checking in two years later than the other review to say our dishwasher STILL did not come with a power cord, no warning, no recommendations to purchase additional parts, nothing. Clearly not a priority for Whirlpool to actually deliver working products.

Not only is the cord not included but this cord is not even the one that is in the installation video that has the tiny ring terminals already on it. Not can i find the one in the video. Lowes and home Depot doesnt sale the ring terminals that will fit. Wtf!!!!????? How does people even power this thing. I don't like you whirlpool. The new dishwasher design is freaking ignorant for hooking up utilities. Where did you find your engineers?

Bought a whirlpool dishwasher at our local Home Depot. Had to wait 5 weeks. The salesperson didn™™t tell us we needed a separate electric cord. All our other dishwashers in the past included the cord. Why wasn™™t a electric cord included. It™™s called ™whirlpool electric dishwasher ™. Doesn™™t make sense. Ordered the cord over a week ago. Then got an email 6 days later it™™s back ordered for at least another 3 weeks. I don™™t understand why a cord wasn™™t included. I™™m very disappointed in the whole process
