Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Rust ruining our clothes

CC in LA 8/27/2025

The heated air channel paint has burned away, exposing the carbon steel which has rusted badly and has large flakes of rust. Clothes being ruined routinely during drying, even after taking it apart and vacuuming out the loose rust and scale. Started happening when dryer was just 2 years old. Very disappointed in this product and the one year standard warranty on these parts.

Nice Dryer 7/26/2025

This dryer was easy to install. When we first used it, there was a banging sound. We knew something was not right. We called Whirlpool for support, and they sent out a technician who determined that one of the side panels was being bumped by the drum. He ordered a new side panel and a drum. So far it works great.

i am overall pleased with the drier, so much so actually, I just bought a Whirlpool washing machine (top loading with removable agitator). That appears to be a good machine, although I have only had it for about a month. My only issue with the drier it that it is very difficult to clean the lint trap, the pull out screen catches some, but there should be a way to get to the exhaust tube from the front. That seems like it would be a very easy modification to make. Accumulated lint is a very real fire danger.

Love my dryer so far praying it lasts

Whirlpoolin 6/4/2025

I absolutely love my washer and dryer. I hope my dryer lasts. Easy to use and quiet. My ONLY complaint is the design of the lint catcher vent. Once you take the tray out to clean it, there is a lot of excess lint that is really hard to get down into without seriously hurting your hand trying to get to it.

It's a dryer...

Candy 5/31/2025

The dryer buttons on the front is a plus and minus. It does give you a flatter area to fold clothes but barely touching the button by accidentally bumping into it happens frequently. I wish the dryer area were larger. I had to downgrade to this size from a 8 cubic. The other complaint is that the end of cycle notification ringtone is not very loud at all. I also miss that from my previous Maytag.

When it works, it's OK.

DCSm 5/4/2025

On Saturday, the dryer was running but not heating. Sheets were in the dryer for over an hour and were still wet. I shut the dryer down and restarted it. After a minute or so, I heard the burner kick in, so I thought all was well. about 10-15 minutes later I checked the sheets. They were still cold and wet. I shut the dryer off again and restarted it. THIS time I turned the "Ecoboost" OFF and turned the temperature up to high from default. The dryer stayed warm/hot and the sheets were properly dried in a few minutes. I did a set of towels with the same settings and they came out fine. The dryer had worked OK for two weeks before. I have reported this issue to the warranty division of my builder.

Extended Warranty Fraud

Pete Sur 12/6/2024

My new home came equipped with all Whirlpool products which have a builder™€™s 2 yr warranty. I received Whirlpool extended warranty mailings to extended the warranties another year after owning them only 1 year which I purchased. Whirlpool then put all my extended warranties into effect 1 year before the builder™€™s warranties expired rather than extending an other year. Have called customer service countless times and cookie cutter system cannot correct my issue. Total incompetence!! Have spent 20 hours on the phone with Whirlpool. Calling the Florida Attorney General™€™s office.

Front-loading gas dryer

Annie 5/14/2024

Overall, the dryer works Ok. It could get the clothes a bit dryer. After turning it on, the choices are a bit confusing and the ultimate dry time is not consistent with the type of clothes in the dryer. For example, towels, which would take more time and heat get less time than other lighter-weight items. The door is a little difficult to open. There's plenty of room in the dryer for large loads. But, I've made it work.

There's a bad one in every batch

Disappointed in Michigan 4/27/2024

There's always a bad one in every batch and it's likely that I got it. I've owned the unit for two weeks. I've already had a repair technician look at it twice so far and it still isn't working correctly. The first tech visit was because it wasn't heating up. Later that day it stopped working again. The tech came out again and completely disassembled the unit trying to fix it and found nothing wrong. After reassembly, it started heating up again, but now, only days later, it seems to only heat up when it wants to. I've had nothing but trouble with this dryer and would not recommend it based on my experience thus far.

With our positive experience with the washer, we chose to get a Whirlpool dryer. The functionality of this unit is top notch and is built with high quality. Plus, I love the added space to fully dry our sheets and comforters. I know we'll be buying Whirlpool in the future!

Frequent maintenance required

Kris D. 3/19/2024

We have had this dryer for three years now and while it does a good job at drying the clothes, I am not able to use the drying sensor feature as the clothes were often still damp. I always use the timed dry due to this. Also, we have had to have it serviced twice in under three years (at about $200 a pop) NOT due to a faulty part, but due to the lint build up in the back of the machine that can only be reached by a professional who has to almost completely disassemble the machine to reach the built up lint. (I watched). I DO clean out the lint trap in the front of the dryer every time I use the machine, so it™€™s not from neglect on my part. This is lint that is not captured in the trap that makes it all the way to the back of the machine and causes the machine to make a very loud rumbling sound with vibration of the machine. This vibration gets so strong that it dislodged my vent hose causing a very potentially dangerous situation if I had not noticed it. Both repair men said that this particular model is a poor design because typically this can be cleaned out from the front of a machine without the need for so much disassembling (thus increased cost). My prior Whirlpool gold dryer lasted 18 years and maybe needed serviced once. At this rate, requiring service every 1.5 years, the maintenance cost of the dryer will soon exceed the purchase price! Not sure if I will bother servicing it again which means I will need to be purchasing a new one in a year and a half.

I have a whirlpool dryer and washer. The dryer lasted 3 years. The front panel got hot and shorted out--could have been dangerous! Our service tech told us that this is not uncommon with this brand. I wish I could just get a regular dryer, not something so fancy with the sensors. I don't mind paying for good equipment, but this is ridiculous. So I guess I will not buy another whirlpool. I am looking into a MAYTAG
