used it for about 9 months before it stopped draining. spent hours on phone/chat with LG to get ultimately get no solutions. buy any other brand this is a waste of your money time. smart diagnosis is worthless told me there was nothing wrong despite basin being full of undrained water. chat kept offering to send a tech even though there is no local tech seems like something customer service should know before suggesting. $350 to fix a $400 machine is insane considering there is no LG tech to come fix it anyway. Worst appliance i have bought so far in my life

LG was not able to install the product. Product included installation and delivery. Dishwasher was delivered but LGs third party delivery company RXO could not complete installation because using its third party installer Thoz Guz Installation. Short version is the dishwasher sat in the box in my kitchen for nearly a month and after numerous calls with LG and RXO product support it was clear that it was not going to be installed any time to soon. Had to return. Very disappointed.

Avoid LG dishwashers at all cost. Typical dishwashers have a life expectancy of 10 years. LGs are 2. Repair costs are also excessive due to several parts being enclosed in a sigular housing. Average repairs will set you back $400 to $600 dollars every 2 years.

VERY disappointing build quality arrived broken

Arrived broken water fill check valve malfunctioned. Customer support wanted a photo of the problem how dumb is that?. They refused return and refund by demanding a repairman come to check the unit. Ive been installing/repairing dishwashers for 30 years This ~$500 unit is so cheaply made as to be embarrassing. It replaced an equivalent 10 year old unit that was SUBSTANTIALLY better built and I was disappointed in THAT build quality 10 years ago. Its just the trend I suppose same price but far cheaper materials and workmanship.

Doesnt have a rinse cycle. You cant read the names of the buttons on the front panel because the labels dont light up and are very low contrast.. There arent real buttons just areas you can press and you have to hold it long enough to register but not so long that it does something else. Completely unusable. Started leaking after about a month and I cant run a rinse cycle to confirm the leak.

Cleans well no problems so far but it is louder than I thought it would be. I was also disappointed that this model cannot be connected to the LG ThinQ app that I use for my washer and dryer. Installer told us that the machine needs to be started once a month to keep the motor lubricated and working right. Since it is in our vacation home this isnt possible. Wish we had known this before we purchased.

Dishwasher lasted for about 9 months and then we experienced an error code that indicated a leak. LG sent a technician who couldnt fix the issue. They said they wouldnt honor the 1 year warranty as the issue was due to physical damage. This appliance was delivered and installed professionally by home depot and sits within kitchen cabinets and was just used normally. I spent over 10 hours trying to get LG or Home Depot to replace the unit. They refused and offered 15 off to buy a replacement. I replaced it with a Maytag. Fingers crossed we have better luck.

We purchased and installed this model and discovered that it has sub-optimal performance. Dishes remain wet no matter how long they are on heat dry and overnight dry setting. The biggest drawback is that there are not enough dish support tines in the lower dish rack to hold up/support plates of differing sizes. Spending hours on hold with Customer Service was a waste of time as well. Once you purchase the dishwasher they dont care about customer satisfaction or helping find additional tines and brackets to better support dishes. It really is the worst dishwasher Ive ever owned in my life and virtually no customer service.

Bought this product in November 2023 and it generated an error message in September 2024 and would not function properly I called LG and they sent a technician that claims there was physical damage to unit and therefore wouldnt honor the 1 year warranty. This appliance was shipped and installed professionally by Home Depot. It was never moved from the original kitchen. i spent over 10 hours communicating with LG and home depot to try to have them stand by the warranty. The best they would do was 15 off to replacement. Id also have to pay to haul away my 1 year old dishwasher and pay for another install. i will never purchase LG again and have purchased a replacement Maytag dishwasher from. Costco. Buyer Beware

I have been a loyal Kitchenaid dishwasher customer since the 1970s however the last two Kitchenaid dishwashers I had did not clean as well as the previous ones. My last Kitchenaid had to be replaced prior to moving so I wanted to get the least expensive replacement. I chose LG to match my other kitchen appliances. I was simply amazed how well this low-end LG dishwasher cleans dishes so much better than any of the five previous top-end Kitchenaids Ive owned. I have now switched my loyalty to LG dishwashers. I would have given this a 5-star rating but this dishwasher completely went dead after 4 months of having it. However it was still under warranty. Service was quick by replacing the main front panel in less than 5 minutes.

The dishwasher top rack does not come out all the way. It gets stuck on the top sprayer. The drying option does not work no mater what setting is chosen. I tried to contact LG for repair and scheduled a repair person but they never showed up and tried to cancel the appointment. If I do not get a response by the end of the week. Good buy

I bought this dishwasher nearly a month ago online and it took about a week to come in to my local Lowes. It was CR Recommended and happened to be on sale at the time that was a added bonas. It replaced a Samsung that really never worker right from day1 and finally gave out after 14 months. It has run 5 or 6 times so far and fron the first time it ran you could tell it was working. While not overly loud you could hear the water spraying inside. It only has a few different cycles but seems to do a good job so far. I really miss the 3rd rack in the Samsung for knifes and kitchen utensils. Overall it was an excellent purchso gar under $500.

Defective Dishwasher

Dishwasher is defective Purchased the unit in November 2023 and by May of 2024 the unit stopped finishing the wash cycle leaving water in the base of the unit and the dishes unwashed with no error code Took three calls to customer service rep to troubleshoot and finally to have a service repair scheduled. Parts ordered to replace the motherboard as well as the control unit.

I love it except the smell inside the machine right on day one was rotten. Still smells no matter how much I wash the inside.

Better than Samsung so far

You can actually hear this dishwasher working. While its not excessively loud you can hear the water eotking inside. Had a Samsung that didnt last 18 months so hearing this one work so far is well worth the money.
