i bought this mount for my 65" samsung tv because the manual for the tv said i need a vesa compatible mount. i had it professionally installed. the installer was surprised by the up tilt, but eventually figured it just needed more muscle before the tv was placed on the mount to tilt it down. the tilt is good for me, but it is not drastic. the swivel and distance from the wall is pretty limited, which is good for a low profile, but this means that the swivel angle is less then 45 degrees. if you are looking for greater swivel or ability to distance from wall, this is probably not the mount for you. finally, moving the position of the tv requires a bit of muscle compared to other tv mounts i have, albeit for smaller tvs.

Works for 75" Samsung Q90T, but Cement screws!

this is a solid bracket, attached well to my 75" samsung. lost 1 star (4/5) because it only ships with cement mounting screws.
why not drywall hardware? instructions say to buy "appropriate" drywall mounting hardware yourself but don't say what is "appropriate" to support a 75" samsung qled tv..
instructions say call samsung support. 3 calls but they had no clue what is needed to support 75" samsung tv in drywall.
so trying to be helpful - sharing with disclaimer that i am not responsible for your choices or damages, i used:
- 2 x 2 3/4" lag bolts on left side - in a wood stud ,
- 4 x 1/4 " toggler brand high performance anchors in remaining holes in drywall.
these worked for me, so far seems solid.

i purchased through samsung so i would not have any compatibility issues. the wall mount is not stout enough to hold a 65" tv.
i also paid +/- $ 120 to have the mount installed. the installer was unfamiliar with this modal and had difficulty in mounting it. your policy does not compensate the purchaser for monies paid for installation.
i am now responsible for removing the tv and bracket your firm recommended. once samsung receive the defective/unusable mounting bracket i will be compensated for the bracket only, but i will not be reimbursed for the installation cost nor will i be reimbursed for any new installation cost.
samsung cannot recommend a different wall mount so i am either stuck with this model or i can go to an outside source and purchase another brand. i'll not use this brand

Not appropriate for 75" TV

this was the recommended bracket when i went to purchase the tv from samsung. i thought, "i'm buying a samsung tv, they know whats the best bracket right?"
this bracket is undersized for a 75". the drywall anchors are sized for a 32" tv. i was worried we would mount it on the wall and my tv would be on the floor the next morning. that was my impression.
when the installer from handy areived he asked, are you sure you want me to mount this. i'm not confidant it can support the weight of this tv.
i should have went with my gut when it arrived and got another backup option. instead, i paid the 2x upcharge from the installer.
overall, disappointed with this choice and its going back.

this mount seems very sturdy and well made, but the manual is lacking. it includes concrete anchors, but says to use appropriate screws "for the wall of plaster, marble, or steel". proper lag bolts will securely mount to regular 16" on center studs if you are in the small but significant percentage of american homes that use drywall rather than marble or steel walls. i thought i needed to remount the tv, as it was tilted about 15 degrees up, and resisted any movement to straighten it. eventually, it relented and was pushed into position (there is a spring tension device for the nod tilt). with my tv, i can get my tv about 2" / 50mm from the wall. i think there are some spring clips meant to hold it even closer, but i'm not comfortable manhandling my tv enough to engage them.

mount is very well constructed; instructions are ok but some may have challenge converting from metric units; it is limited to custom wall backing or concrete; 7-8 points expected to screw in
mine arrived with damaged mounting base - rivets knocked off (had to thrown around in shipping. samsung support kindly offered to return but not issue a swap. 15-20 days to order a new one, process return. likely will purchase another brand.

disappointed and expected more from samsung. it does not state in the description but this mount is designed for concrete walls and does not accommodate 24" stud walls.
